E-Z Audit Converter Warnings

You can only convert audits created with E-Z Audit Versions 8 or higher to E-Z Audit Version 12 format.

You can not convert:

Prior version audits that were themselves already converted to a newer version. For example a Version 7 audit that was converted to Version 10 format previously.
Any audit earlier than Version 8

Warning! When converting to the new format, the original earlier version audits are deleted. You are strongly advised to make backups of the original earlier version files in case of any problems during the conversion such as a connectivity problem with your server, a power outage, etc.

All efforts have been made to make the audits as compatible as possible but the following information must be noted as critical guidelines and warnings:

Converted audits will lack any data that became available only in later versions for obvious reasons
Because converted audits may lack certain information, mixing converted audits and new audits created with the current version in a single location (folder) can result in incorrect summaries or other reports and other potential issues
Conversions should only be used when dealing with static data, for example if you have a folder for retired equipment or locations that are not going to be re-audited for a long time.
In view of the above, we very strongly advise against mixing converted audits and new audits. Keep converted audits in a separate folder from new audits
