and hardware audits on:
Windows 7

Windows 2000
Windows Server 2000
Windows Server
2003
Windows Server 2008
Windows 98 SP2; treated as legacy system with no support
Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 5 or newer; treated as legacy system with
no support
Windows NT4 with SP6 and Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 or higher; treated as
legacy system with no support
Windows 9x and NT4 is legacy
software that is no longer supported by Microsoft. We are no longer making
changes to accommodate these operating systems. In most cases you should have no
problems with auditing them provided the minimums above are present on the

What kind of impact does E-Z Audit have on my
network? What sort of traffic can I expect?
E-Z Audit is not like discovery-type products or others dependent on WMI or
other techniques that hit your LAN with massive traffic. It is roughly the
equivalent of your users saving text files created at their PCs across
your LAN.
Launching the audits pushes far fewer bytes than opening a typical accounting
Excel spreadsheet.

Can I audit remote workers who are not on my LAN or
WAN?
Yes! You can
audit via
USB flash drive or use E-Z Audit Remote
What report formats do you use? Database
formats?
We offer a variety of reports covering the different types of
information an administrator or manager could want. You can export
to comma-separated values (CSV), or tab-delimited text, either of which
are usable via Excel or other spreadsheet programs, and ideal for data
upload to database programs. You can also export to an Access 2000
or newer .MDB table format.
Many reports can be printed out to HTML pages. Additionally you
can export all PC summary data (hardware, installed program titles,
services, and more) to a single "package" that you can easily post on an
intranet to share with others without needing to install E-Z Audit on
their PCs.
Our internal data is encrypted and proprietary, however with the above
export capabilities, this is not an issue as you have the ability to
easily move the data to your preferred DB program.
