Audit without sharing your data 

There's no free anything.  Some freeware audit tools harvest your data, and potentially threaten your security.  Anytime that data about you is sent somewhere, someone can grab it.

The leading freeware is so secretive they have rules to prevent you from even measuring their performance or monitoring their internet communications.  What are they worried about?
