Note about "False Positives" with
some antivirus products...
Some AV product, e.g. Symantec Endpoint
Protection Small Business Edition, have incorporated "trust
based" analysis.
These do not actually scan the file,
but check against a list of "known-good" products.
If
a product is not very widely downloaded and/or the download
package changes frequently (as ours
does) it may warn you that the product
is not trusted.
E-Z Audit is 100%
safe to download and use.

How to install and start using
E-Z Audit
Install the downloaded file to
your PC. Don't install it to your server
– there is no need to
and and in fact it won't run on your server.
(If you're curious,
here's why it's not for server
installation.)
Not to get too far ahead of
things here, but let's just say that while you copy
a couple of modules to your server, nothing actually
runs at the server.
Start out by reading the really
short-and-to-the-point
Illustrated Quick
Start Guide
There are more details in the
User's Guide and the full Quick Start Guide. You can
access these from the E-Z Audit Admin console's Home
page when you install and run it at your PC.
